The New Majority Project is a 501(c)(4) dedicated to reinvigorating limited government.
We got started because those who were supposedly dedicated to our cause stopped pushing big ideas, persuading Americans, and winning new adherents to the limited government coalition. They became guardians of the status quo rather than its enemies.
The Goals of the New Majority Project
(1) Change the relationship of carrots and sticks in the fight over limited government in order to pass our agenda and stop the big government agenda. (2) Build a 21st century limited government majority that is strong financially and at the local level. (3) Create an organization that can successfully battle every day with the array of liberal groups that are defining the public policy debate. (4) Increase percentages of minorities, women, suburbanites, etc. who support the limited government agenda by getting back in the persuasion business rather than talking to ourselves. (5) Inform voters about what liberals are up to and provide overdue scrutiny of their ideas. (6) Win the argument about the supremacy of our solutions to liberal ones and define the differences so that citizens understand the consequences. (7) Lay the groundwork for long-term success, even when we don’t get everything in the short term. (8) Prepare citizens and give them the tools they need to successfully advance the limited government agenda.
